Marjory Downer (left) at Ron Turley's celebrations. Marjory worked in the post office before it transferred to Woolf and Geer in the 1950's.

Muriel Campin-Lowe who was a book-keeper with  Orchards for some years.

Alf Williams, father of Barbara Orchard, with Barbara's sister, Eileen, Bruce the labrador and the legendary Morris 1000. Alf worked as storeman in the 1960's and early 70's, taking in our considerable deliveries, checking the delivery notes against the goods and storing the boxes, cases, etc. into place in what is now 'The Old Store'.
Richard Herbert, Dick's nephew from North Wales, made a great impact in the few years he was with us in the 1960's. Humour, energy and an impressive vocabulary marked his tenure before eventually going on to great things with The World Bank in Washington, USA.

Mary Groves of Freshwater village was a shop assistant for many years in the 1960's and 70's.
